I have finally released my new game : Orbitz

There is not much to say about this game other than it’s probably my biggest and greatest game so far!

It is generously sponsored by Whirled.com, with their innovative micro-transactions system.
However, implementing their API was no easy task and had me going through A LOT of trials and errors but in the end it was well worth it.

The game features 18 levels and 5 different avatars and if you are a Whirled member it will award you with coins and trophies!

Over the last year, I got several emails from fans telling me to at least make a third Isora.

I didn’t want to at first because I thought Isora 2 had exploited the whole concept but I did manage to find more features and went on with the production of a third installment.

That’s right, the long awaited Castle Crashers is out and it’s definitely worth the wait. I bought it yesterday and I must say it’s the most impressive single programmer game I’ve seen since Chris Sawyer’s Roller Coaster Tycoon. I didn’t have time to get very deep into the game yet but I’m loving every minute of it. I think it’s a serious candidate for IGF’s game of the year and you should all go download it right now!

I’ve been working a lot lately and this game in particular took me a lot of time to finish. There’s much more content than my usual game and I’m very pleased with the final result. I just released my new game called Cutey Cubes! It’s a cute (duh) puzzle game in which you stack blocks in a similar fashion to Tetris or Dr. Mario. You can play it here. You should also check out Climate Revenge and Sketch it, two new games I haven’t posted about. They have both been out for a while now. My first game of 2008, which was completed during the holidays, is finally out both on Newgrounds and LegitGames.com! Isora 2 uses the same basic concept of Isora but pushes it further with lots of new features and greatly improved graphics. I have to say doing my isometric tile engine all over again in AS3.0 was no easy task with the new way flash handles depth sorting but it was worth it. So, check it out!

I finally released my second AS3 game, Cloud Climber. Unfortunately, it didn’t get too much attention on Newgrounds and lots of people complain that they experience lag or the game not loading at all. I’m still learning AS3 and hopefully my next game won’t suffer from these issues. It’s also important to note that it’s normal that the game won’t play properly if you don’t have the latest flash player installed.

I finally released my first AS3 game, Cogenix!

Do you guys know what’s cool? Notessimo, a musical game by Jean-Denis Boivin, a friend of mine. You can compose music just like you used to do it in Mario Paint. It’s very well done, you can even share your songs with your friends. He even included a song I made, how cool is that ; )
